Each of the four Characteristics (Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Health) start out as 10. Then the player picks one of the Characteristic Sets, and applies those bonuses to the corresponding Stats. The player then Gets 100 points to purchase Advantages, Skills, and to raise the scores of their Characteristics. Disadvantages add additional points, but MUST be RPed with the character. Movement is then calculated as your Dexterity +Health divided by 4, do not round off. WIll Score is your IQ plus the Strong Will advantage or minus the Weak WIll disadvantage.

To begin creating the character, first go to the backgrounds and basics category, and write down any that apply. Put the ones with a positive numbers beside them in the advantages category, and the ones with the negative numbers beside them in the disadvantage category. Write those numbers down beside each entry. Next move on to the advantages and disadvantages categories, and write down the ones you want. Remember, You'll have a total of 100 points to build your entire character with, and the advantages and disadvantages modify that number. When you have finished those two categories, total the numbers up, and write them at the bottom of each category. The difference between the two affect your starting points.

Next, modify your four attributes. Strength (ST), Dexterity (DX), Intelligence (IQ), and Health (HT). Each one stats out at a base level of 10, and you can raise or lower it as you see fit. the cost to raise or lower it to a certain level is written on the chart above. The costs are not cumulative, and are just the total costs for the level you want to set them at. Once you've decided on where you want them, write down the base numbers beside them. Next, add the bonuses from your character set to them. Write down the bonuses, and then the final total of each attribute. Then write down the total point cost at the bottom of that section.

Next you move on to your skills. The numbers written beside them in that thread are the default checks for those who do not possess any ranks in that skill. The main thing you want to focus on are the base Attribute it uses, whether it's Physical or Mental, and whether it is Easy, Average, or Hard. Write down any and all skills that are applicable to your character. Purchase the ranks by comparing the base attribute to the chart in that thread. For example, if you wish to purchase ranks in Disguise, you would would look down to the Mental Chart to see what teh points costs are under the Average category. Stat-1 costs 1 point, so if you have an IQ of 15, a Disguise rank of 14 would cost 1 point. Write down the ranks beside each Skill, and then point costs beside that. Then total those numbers all up and write the total below.

Total up all of the categories, and subtract the total from the 100 points you had to initially build your character. If you have points left, you can go back and buy some more stuff. If you're over the 100 point costs, you have to go back and remove some things or lower some values. From there, you're nearly done. Next you calculate your Movement, which is Dexterity+ Health divided by 4 (do not round off). Your Willpower is your Intelligence plus any bonuses from the Strong Will Advantage, or minus any penalties the from Weak Will Disadvantage.

For your defenses, Dodge is 1/2 your DX score. Parry is 1/2 times your Melee Weapon skill though some weapons have a parry rating of 2/3 your weapon skill. Your block score is your in game block rank (1, 2, 3) plus your shield's passive defense score. The passive defense score from your armor is added to all three defensive scores

After that, you pick your starting gear, whatever would be appropriate for your character, and write all of that down as well. For your Money, the standard starting amount is $15,000, multiplied by the factor listed in your Wealth Category.
